We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Professional Driver Location: Lagos Working Conditions: Monday- Saturday Job Summary Additionally, the driver is responsible for routine vehicle maintenance, ensuring full compliance with vehicle documentation and traffic laws, and performing operational errands as assigned. The primary purpose of this role is to provide safe, reliable, and timely transportation for clinic staff &supplies. Key Responsibilities: Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks, including monitoring tire pressure, battery condition, brakes, and lights, etc. Complete operational errands as required. Strictly adhere to all national and local traffic laws, speed limits, and safety regulations at all times. Convey veterinary doctors, technicians, and support staff safely to and from home visits, field consultations, emergency call-outs, and off-site assignments. Ensure the vehicle maintains adequate fuel levels for emergency responses and keep track of fuel receipts and expense reports. Track and report upcoming expiration dates for vehicle licenses, roadworthiness certificates, insurance policies, and statutory permits to ensure timely renewal. Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness for both the interior and exterior of the vehicle. Identify vehicle defects or maintenance needs and report them promptly to the facility manager. Accurately record all trips, mileage, fuel consumption, maintenance history, and incidents in the official vehicle logbook. Safely transport pets/animals (in crates or approved restraints) to and from client locations or partner facilities when required. Job Requirements: Sound knowledge of Lekki/Ajah/VIroad networks, traffic patterns, alternate routes, and traffic laws 3–5 years of professional driving experience, preferably within a corporate environment. Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no major traffic violations or license suspensions). No criminal record. OND graduate in any field. Good verbal communication skills and a courteous, customer-friendly demeanor when interacting with clients and staff. Salary N150,000 - 200,000 Monthly.
