We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to oversee the company's financial operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, maintain regulatory compliance, and support effective financial decision-making. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate internal and external audits and implement audit recommendations. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Monitor cash flow, budgets, and financial forecasts. Oversee inventory accounting and ensure accurate valuation of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods. Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities. Analyze financial data and provide insights to support management decision-making. Collaborate with production, procurement, and operations teams to improve cost efficiency and financial controls. Perform cost accounting activities, including product costing and variance analysis. Ensure timely preparation and filing of statutory tax returns and regulatory reports. Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, reports, and reconciliations. Maintain compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and company policies. Qualifications & Requirements: Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills. 3 – 5 years' accounting experience: within the polymer manufacturing industry or a similar manufacturing environment. Good communication and interpersonal abilities. Proficiency in accounting software. Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. Experience: in manufacturing cost accounting and inventory management is highly required. Professional certification (ICAN, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) will be an added advantage. Excellent attention to detail, integrity, and organizational skills. Salary N300,000 / month.
