This role requires extensive field travel, strong diagnostic skills, and hands-on experience: with industrial electrical, mechanical, and process control systems. The Field Service Engineer will serve as the technical backbone of the company's chemical solutions business by installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing chemical dosing systems and associated equipment. The successful candidate will work closely with customers and the commercial team to ensure equipment reliability, provide technical guidance, and support business growth through excellent after-sales service. Key Responsibilities: Chemical Dosing Systems Management: Maintain detailed service records and equipment performance reports. Install, commission, calibrate, and maintain automated chemical dosing systems at customer sites. Monitor dosing performance and chemical consumption to ensure accurate treatment and operational efficiency. Conduct preventive maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime. Equipment Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Perform corrective maintenance and equipment replacement where necessary. Conduct root-cause analysis and implement long-term corrective actions. Troubleshoot and repair dosing pumps, motors, valves, sensors, PLCs, control panels, and associated systems. Diagnose and resolve electrical, electronic, mechanical, and process-related equipment faults. Technical Support & Customer Training: Provide technical guidance during product implementation and system optimization. Deliver technical training to customer personnel on equipment operation, preventive maintenance, safe chemical handling, and troubleshooting. Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), user manuals, and technical documentation. Serve as the primary technical support contact for assigned customer accounts. Sales & Business Support: Support the Business Development team during customer visits and technical presentations. Provide outstanding after-sales support to improve customer satisfaction and retention. Assist with equipment sizing, chemical consumption calculations, and technical proposal preparation.
