We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Unmanned Aerial Systems / Drone Pilot Location : Nigeria Position Summary The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and effective operation of Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) in support of the company's security, surveillance, monitoring, reconnaissance, and operational activities. The Drone Pilot will be expected to maintain high standards of aviation safety, regulatory compliance, professionalism, and operational readiness. Key Responsibilities: Conduct routine checks of drones, batteries, payloads, ground-control equipment, and associated systems. Conduct pre-flight planning, risk assessments, equipment inspections, and post-flight checks. Capture and manage aerial imagery, video, and other mission-related data. Immediately report equipment defects, safety concerns, incidents, or operational abnormalities. Monitor flight parameters, weather conditions, airspace restrictions, and other factors affecting flight safety. Work closely with security and operational teams to support assigned missions. Maintain strict confidentiality regarding operational activities, security information, and collected data. Maintain accurate flight logs, mission records, incident reports, and equipment documentation. Execute Drone missions safely and in accordance with approved operational procedures and applicable aviation regulations. Operate UAS/Drone systems for surveillance, reconnaissance, monitoring, inspection, and other approved security operations. Minimum Qualification Applicants must possess: High level of integrity, discipline, confidentiality, and professionalism. Good communication, situational awareness, decision-making, and report-writing skills. Relevant aviation knowledge and demonstrated understanding of flight operations and safety procedures. A valid Commercial Pilot's Licence (CPL) with an Instrument Rating. Ability to work effectively in demanding operational and security environments. Ability to interpret aviation weather information, maps, charts, and report-writing skills. Knowledge of UAS/Drone operations and applicable aviation regulations. Added Advantage: The following will be an advantage: Knowledge of Nigerian aviation and UAS regulatory requirements. Previous professional experience: operating UASs/Drones. Relevant UAS/Remote Pilot certification or authorization. Experience: with advanced Drone platforms, thermal imaging, mapping, or long-range surveillance systems. Experience: in security, maritime, oil and gas, pipeline monitoring, or related operations.
