The Business Manager will be responsible for driving the profitability, operational efficiency, growth, and overall performance of the property business while coordinating property, sales, vendors, contractors, and other relevant stakeholders. We are looking for a commercially driven and highly organised Business Manager to take ownership of the day-to-day business operations of our property arm. Key Responsibilities: Identify opportunities to reduce operational costs and improve profitability. Negotiate commercial agreements, vendor arrangements, leases, and other property-related transactions. Work with the Quantity Surveyor and other professionals to monitor construction and development projects. Manage relationships with property owners, tenants, agents, contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders. Develop and execute business strategies to grow the property portfolio and revenue. Ensure properties are properly maintained and managed. Track revenue, expenses, profitability, occupancy, sales, and other key business metrics. Conduct market research and analyse property market trends. Develop systems and processes for efficient property operations. Coordinate contractors and service providers involved in property projects. Take overall responsibility for the day-to-day business operations of the property arm. Monitor the financial performance of the property business. Perform other strategic and operational duties assigned by management. Develop property business plans, budgets, revenue projections, and growth targets. Take ownership of assigned revenue and business development targets. Oversee property acquisition, leasing, sales, development, and management activities. Identify and evaluate new property investment and development opportunities. Build and manage relationships that support the growth of the property portfolio. Ensure compliance with relevant property, tenancy, regulatory, and business requirements. Prepare regular management reports covering business performance, opportunities, risks, and challenges. Ensure proper documentation and record keeping for all property transactions. Requirements: Strong understanding of the Nigerian real estate/property market. Demonstrated ability to manage business operations and drive revenue. Strong leadership, organisation, and decision-making skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Minimum of 4 years' experience: in business management, real estate, property management, operations, or a related commercial role. Strong reporting and presentation skills. Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills. Strong financial and commercial acumen. Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google Workspace, particularly Excel/Google Sheets. Experience: in property acquisition, leasing, sales, development, or property management. Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Estate Management, Real Estate, Finance, Economics, or a related field. Ability to work independently and take full ownership of responsibilities.
