They achieve this through a combination of strategic sales planning, proactive outreach, and strong product/market knowledge. In this role you will be focused on driving revenue growth in Oil across West Africa by expanding on existing client relationships and developing new business. What will you be doing Keeping abreast of any service changes and how those add to the value proposition. Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key users, understand their needs, be their trusted advisor, and provide solutions. Developing a strong understanding of the value proposition for our offerings and communicate clearly to commercial team members (i.e. Account managers, Client success managers), product managers/Sector and Marketing. Market Awareness: Keeping abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes that impact their territory. Collaboration: Cross-functionally with the various Sales teams, Product Managers, Client Services, and Marketing to drive sales initiatives. Sales Targets: Meet and exceed sales growth targets for your set of services (Oil services: Crude, Products, LPG, Biofuels). Product Knowledge: Possessing in-depth knowledge of Argus Oil services and market landscape, enabling to act as trusted advisors throughout the sales cycle. Expert at communicating value proposition to clients. Sales Strategy: Contributing and executing a sales strategy to grow revenue within a defined territory (Africa/WAF) or client base. What we’re looking for in you Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for building relationships and presenting solutions. Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve client issues and challenges. Sales Experience: Proven track record of 5-10 years successful sales experience, with complex solutions and in a competitive environment. Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects, tasks, and deadlines. Relationship Building: Ability to build rapport and trust with clients and internal stakeholders. Product Knowledge: Understanding our products and services and how they benefit our various clients. Contributing to product roadmap development based on client feedback. Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse data, identify trends, and make informed decisions to improve sales performance. Market Experience: Experience: in the commodity markets, particularly in the specific area of focus (Crude, Products, LPG, Biofuels in Africa).
