Formerly, the company commenced operations in 2000 as Kuka Consumer Healthcare Limited majoring in the importation and distribution of pharmaceutical products in Nigeria and among countries across the West Coast of Africa. The idea behind the establishment of KCH Consumer Healthcare was informed by the rapid growth of the holding company as well as the need to integrate its long term plans which included among others, the establishment of a world class pharmaceutical enterprise. In abiding with that fate, KCH acquired Pharmamax Nigeria Limited, a fledgling pharmaceutical company based in Lagos and Pharmatimes Ltd, an influential international health newspaper in 2014, to facilitate the process of building a one-stop pharmaceutical conglomerate in Africa. Also, in line with the company’s slow market penetration strategy, KCH is in the process of establishing an ECOWAS compliant GMP Plant in Lagos. We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Tablet Coating Machine Operator Location: Lagos Employment Type: Full-time Responsibilities: Sorting the waste and handling with chemical spills as per SOP prepared for that. Collaborate with the production team to meet production goals and deadlines. Maintain accurate records of coating parameters and production data. Receiving the raw materials needed to prepare the coating liquid and ensuring the weight, safety, data, and environmental conditions required to prepare the liquid. Weighting the bulk (tablets) received in the coating room before starting coating and following up on sending samples during work according to the specified routine. Operate and maintain tablet coating machines, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency. Cleaning coating area and ensuring of readiness of coating machine before and after working and emptying the area of any trace of the previous product. Adherence to good manufacturing practices (GMP), personal hygiene instructions, and the conditions of entry, exit, and work specified for each area. Inspect coated tablets for defects and implement corrective actions when necessary. Monitoring the consistency of the weight of the tablets before and after coating according to the specified range for each product and record the data in the coating records. Operation the coating machines according to SOP and determination parameters to coating tablets. Commitment to attending the relevant trainings organized by the company and applying the information derived from the trainings during the performance of the work. Preparing (mixing and homogenizing) the coating liquid according to the steps specified in the preparation record, while verifying the result of the sample taken from the liquid before starting work. Documenting the working environment conditions for each product, including temperature, humidity, and pressure, in the designated records. Adherence to the company's internal regulations and all administrative orders and circulars issued by Top management. Performing daily maintenance such as lubrication and other, cleaning and sterilization of the coating liquid preparation equipment and machine parts and informing the supervisor in case of a malfunction. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment. knowledge the environmental aspects and risks resulting from the coating and adherence to the applied control method and use the (PPE) to perform the work. Evaluation colleagues according to the standards approved within the company and adherence to neutrality and objectivity during the evaluation. Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues to minimize downtime. Monitor and control the tablet coating process, making necessary adjustments to meet quality standards. Adherence to quality management, environment, health, and occupational safety systems while working within the department. Report any accident resulting in injury or malfunction in the work to the department. Qualifications Between 22- 35years old as at the time of application. In-depth knowledge of the MS-Office Have knowledge of GMP, quality, environment, health and occupational safety systems. Candidates should possess an HND / NCE / OND / SSCE qualification. Must be very detailed and self-driven Relevant qualification as applicable to role applied for. Organization, arrangement and accuracy in work. Male or Female.
