Key Responsibilities: Liaise with external counsel and regulatory authorities. Ensure appropriate execution and storage of legal documents. Assist with dispute resolution and litigation management. Conduct legal and regulatory research. Draft, review and negotiate contracts and agreements. Review corporate policies and documents. Manage legal documentation and records. Monitor regulatory developments affecting the organization. Develop legal risk-mitigation strategies. Support corporate governance activities. Provide legal opinions and advisory support to management. Identify legal and contractual risks. Requirements: Professional membership of the Nigerian Bar Association is expected for practising counsel. Strong negotiation and analytical abilities. Additional certification in corporate governance, compliance, arbitration, mediation or data protection is an advantage. Excellent knowledge of corporate/commercial and employment law. 2–5 years' relevant post-call experience: depending on level. Strong legal drafting and research skills. LL.B. Degree.
