We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Infrastructure & Security Specialist Location: Lagos Employment Type: Contract Job Summary The role requires strong hands-on experience: across Oracle databases, WebLogic, Apache and Linux, together with a solid understanding of infrastructure security and enterprise application environments. The Infrastructure & Security Specialist will be responsible for managing and supporting enterprise infrastructure environments while maintaining the security, availability, performance and reliability of critical technology platforms. We are seeking for an Infrastructure & Security Specialist. Key Responsibilities: Participate in infrastructure deployments, system upgrades and technical projects. Perform Oracle database monitoring, administration, performance tuning and troubleshooting. Manage access controls, privileged access and system permissions. Implement infrastructure security controls and hardening measures. Provide technical support during system implementation, testing and production support activities. Support backup, recovery and disaster recovery activities. Investigate and resolve infrastructure and application-related incidents. Manage and support enterprise infrastructure and application environments. Develop and maintain SQL and PL/SQL scripts and troubleshoot database-related issues. Administer and troubleshoot Linux servers. Work closely with application development, database, cybersecurity and support teams. Administer and support Oracle Database environments. Manage and support Apache Web Server environments. Maintain infrastructure documentation, configurations and operational procedures. Install, configure and administer Oracle WebLogic Server environments. Support patching, upgrades and security remediation activities. Monitor infrastructure performance, availability and capacity. Monitor systems for security vulnerabilities and potential threats. Requirements: Good communication and documentation skills. Experience: with system monitoring, troubleshooting and performance management. Strong hands-on experience: with: Apache Web Server Oracle Database Oracle WebLogic SQL / PL/SQL Linux Administration Good understanding of enterprise application infrastructure. Knowledge of backup, recovery and disaster recovery practices. Experience: working with enterprise technology environments. 4–7 years of relevant experience: in infrastructure administration, enterprise systems or infrastructure security. Good understanding of infrastructure security, system hardening and access management. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Bachelor's Degree / HND qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline.
