We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Cost Engineer / Estimator Location: Warri, Delta Employment Type: Full-time Industry: Oil & Gas Job Summary The ideal candidate will develop accurate project estimates, monitor project costs, analyze cost performance, and support project controls throughout the project lifecycle. We are seeking an experienced Cost Engineer/Estimator to provide cost estimating, cost control, forecasting, benchmarking, and commercial support for major oil & gas projects. Key Responsibilities: Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and project cost plans. Develop and maintain estimating methodologies, cost databases, and benchmarking tools. Identify project risks and opportunities impacting project costs. Support tendering activities, bid evaluations, and commercial reviews. Prepare cost reports, project performance reports, and management dashboards. Monitor project costs, forecasts, and cash flow throughout project execution. Collaborate with Project Controls, Engineering, Procurement, and -Construction teams to ensure accurate cost tracking. Perform cost analysis, variance analysis, and recommend corrective actions. Requirements: Minimum of 10 years' experience: in cost estimating, cost control, forecasting, benchmarking, cost analysis, and reporting within the Oil & Gas industry. Proven experience: supporting Project Controls on large EPC/EPIC oil & gas projects. Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Strong knowledge of estimating techniques, budgeting, earned value management (EVM), and cost forecasting. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and project control tools such as Primavera P6, MS Project, SAP, EcoSys, CostX, or similar software. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
