Translate regulatory requirements: into practical business controls. Develop, implement and continuously improve the organization's Compliance Management Framework. Promote a strong culture of compliance and ethical conduct across the organization. Monitor changes in laws, regulations and regulatory directives affecting the organization. Key Focus: Regulatory Compliance | AML/CFT | NFIU | Data Protection Ensure business activities comply with applicable laws and regulatory requirements. Escalate significant compliance breaches and regulatory risks appropriately. Maintain a comprehensive regulatory obligations register. Establish clear compliance policies, procedures, standards and controls. Provide independent compliance advice to Management. Qualifications & Experience: Experience: with KYC, customer due diligence, enhanced due diligence and transaction monitoring. Experience: developing compliance policies and regulatory reports. Working knowledge of Nigeria's data protection framework and the responsibilities: of a Data Protection Officer. Practical knowledge of CBN regulatory requirements: and AML/CFT obligations. Strong experience: in a regulated financial institution. 8–12 years' experience: in compliance, AML/CFT, regulatory risk or financial crime. Familiarity with NFIU/goAML reporting processes and platforms. Bachelor's degree in Law, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Banking or related discipline. Ability to advise Management and the Board on regulatory risk. Strong understanding of suspicious transaction reporting and financial crime controls. Certifications: ACAMS, CIBN, CAMS, CISI, relevant Data Protection certification or equivalent.
