Our Client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant with strong expertise in Manufacturing and Cost Accounting to join its finance team. Key Responsibilities: Manage cost accounting, product costing, inventory accounting and financial reporting. Support financial audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls. Ensure accurate recording of production, raw materials, work-in-progress and finished goods. Prepare and analyse manufacturing costs, production variances and cost of goods sold. Analyse production costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction and improved profitability. Monitor inventory movements, valuation and reconciliation. Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports. Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning. Requirements: Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Professional accounting qualification (ICAN/ACCA) or progress towards qualification is an advantage. Excellent analytical, numerical and problem-solving skills. Strong knowledge of cost accounting, inventory management, manufacturing finance and financial reporting. Candidates currently working in a Food Processing or Manufacturing Company are strongly preferred. Relevant experience: in Manufacturing/Cost Accounting is required. Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline. N550,000 – N800,000 monthly, depending on experience: and qualifications.
