JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Keep up with local and global trends and events Collect, verify and analyze thoroughly newsworthy information Assemble findings into a stable story Write and deliver news stories with the reader’s perspective in mind Publish news stories Receive assignments or investigate news leads/tips Contact, interview and research sources Maintain notes and audio recordings Cooperate with reporters, chief editor, and producers Stay up-to-date with the latest current News around the world/Nigeria using credible research source, contacts, schedule and interviews Researching background material Writing and rehearsing script for presenting Finalize news content and keep up with deadlines as timeliness is extremely. Abide by journalism’s ethics and codes And any other duties assigned to you in course of your employment with us.
