The ideal candidate must be highly organised, comfortable working with numbers, and able to identify discrepancies, investigate unusual transactions, and ensure outstanding reconciliation issues are resolved promptly. We are seeking detail-oriented and analytical Reconciliation Officers to ensure that sales, payment, inventory, supplier, and customer records are accurately reconciled and properly accounted for. Key Responsibilities: Ensure all reconciliation activities comply with company policies and financial control procedures. Reconcile inventory-related records with Finance and Operations where required. Support internal and external audit activities by providing reconciliation schedules and supporting documents. Maintain accurate documentation and records of reconciliation activities. Escalate unresolved discrepancies to the Head of Finance. Reconcile sales and stock records across stores and outlets. Reconcile daily sales records against POS, bank, and payment platform records. Track outstanding reconciliation items until resolution. Assist with supplier and customer account reconciliations. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliation reports. Identify and investigate discrepancies and unusual transactions. Requirements: Good knowledge of Excel and financial records. Experience: in retail, food production, hospitality, or a multi-branch environment is an advantage. Strong numerical and analytical skills. High level of integrity, confidentiality, and accountability. Ability to identify discrepancies and investigate their causes. B.Sc. or HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline. 1–3 years' relevant experience: in reconciliation, accounting, finance, or financial operations.
