This role is ideal for engineers who can take ownership of workstreams, deliver high-quality solutions with minimal supervision, and provide technical guidance to junior developers while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver business-critical applications. Key Responsibilities: Mentor junior developers through code reviews, technical guidance, and knowledge-sharing initiatives. Translate business, functional, and technical requirements: into high-quality software solutions, providing realistic effort estimates and timely delivery. Take end-to-end ownership of assigned application modules from solution design through deployment, support, and continuous improvement. Build, consume, secure, and document RESTful APIs and system-to-system integrations. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including code quality, automation, DevOps practices, and software development standards. Contribute to application architecture, technical documentation, deployment guides, and operational runbooks to ensure knowledge continuity and maintainability. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve application issues across development, testing, staging, and production environments. Develop clean, scalable, maintainable, and well-tested code while actively participating in peer code reviews and adhering to software engineering best practices. Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications and services using Java (Spring Boot)and/or C# (.NET Core/ASP.NET Core). Collaborate with Solution Architects, QA Engineers, DevOps Engineers, Project Managers, and client stakeholders throughout the software delivery lifecycle. Qualifications & Requirements: Strong SQL expertise with practical experience: working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, or Microsoft SQL Server. Proven experience: designing, developing, and integrating RESTful APIs, including authentication mechanisms such as OAuth2 and JWT. Proficiency with Git and collaborative software development workflows, including branching strategies and pull requests. Minimum of 4 years’ professional experience: in software development using Java and/or C# technologies. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience). Strong hands-on experience: developing enterprise applications with Spring Boot or .NET Core / ASP.NET Core( experience: in both is an added advantage ). Good understanding of software architecture principles, object-oriented programming, design patterns, and secure coding practices. Experience: working within Agile software development environments. Desirable Skills: Frontend development experience: using React, Next.js, or Angular will be an added advantage. Familiarity with unit and integration testing frameworks such as JUnit, Mockito, xUnit, or NUnit. Experience: with messaging and integration technologies such as Apache Kafka, ActiveMQ, Apache Camel, or WSO2.
