We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Flight Dispatcher Location: Lagos Employment Type: Full Time Workplace Type: Onsite Job Function: Flight Operations Experience: Level: Professional Job Role For service / customer disruption incidents whilst on-shift, shall record and collect aerodrome-related information necessary to support a thorough and accurate, post incident investigation. Monitor the progress of the daily flying schedule. Update the daily flights in collaboration with the necessary units. Verify the serviceability and availability of aerodrome / handling facilities. Monitor network performance and participate in delay analysis. Ensure that all necessary diplomatic and over-flight clearances are obtained to fly the commercial schedule. Liaise with Organizations that are involved with the provision of services to, or whose service may affect Company operations. Supervise and control all flights, operational control functions and other associated activities on the shift. Maintain close coordination with Maintenance Control regarding aircraft defects and scheduling of maintenance activities. Obtain and disseminate the latest TAF / METAR reports to flight crew. Manage safety and security in flight operations, and ensure compliance with standards and requirements: of the NCAA. Anticipate flight disruptions and suggest ways to minimize the delays. Requirements: Qualifications: Valid NCAA Flight Dispatch License. Excellent time management, planning and organizational skills. Analytical skills and attention to details. BSC or HND qualification in Geography or any related field. Ability to make sound decisions quickly and efficiently. Computer literacy and technology savvy. Crew rostering/control experience: will be an added advantage. Working knowledge of computer-based operations tools like Jeppesen's Jet planner will be an added advantage Must have Skills: Safety.
