Job Title: PDX Data Clerk Location: Abuja Job type: Contract Purpose of the job This is primarily a field-based position reporting to the M&E Officer with significant time (95-100% time) at the office in order to complete the tasks listed below. Occasional weekend and after-hours work may be required on an as-needed basis (up to, not exceeding, 25% time. Duties and Responsibilities: Ensure timely, accurate, and complete entry of project data into designated databases and reporting platforms. Conduct daily data cleaning, validation, and quality control checks to maintain data integrity and consistency. Maintain organized, secure, and accurate filing (electronic and hard copy) of all project data forms and related documentation. Implement efficient tracking systems for all data collection tools and source documents to prevent loss or duplication. Review and resolve data queries in collaboration with relevant stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and completeness. Uphold strict patient confidentiality standards, ensuring secure handling of patient-identifiable information in accordance with data protection policies and ethical guidelines. Retrieve and verify laboratory testing results from the molecular testing platforms as required. Support timely preparation and submission of reports in line with donor requirements: and reporting timelines. Provide additional administrative and project-related support as assigned by the supervisor Requirements: Education: B.Sc., BA Knowledge/ experience: Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences or Public Health or any other related field Knowledgeable in the use of computers and the Kobo-Collect tool. Experience: with public health projects, research projects, or working in a hospital setting is an advantage. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, approachable, and a good listener Exhibits a high level of accuracy in work and ability to analyze complex sets of relationships and situations. Ability to work on one’s own initiative, prioritize work, and handle pressure What do we offer?
