We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Head of Sales Location : Lekki, Lagos Department: Sales Sales Reports To: Managing Director Objectives The Head of sales is responsible for developing and implementing effective sales strategies for the bank’s growth and revenue targets. This position entails managing the sales team, overseeing customer acquisition, ensuring customer retention and expanding the bank’s market presence. Job Roles and Responsibilities: Strategic Planning and Execution: Set sales targets and ensure they are met by the sales team. Develop and implement the sales strategy aligned with the bank's business goals. Identify new market opportunities and create plans to capture these opportunities. Sales Team Management: Conduct regular training sessions to enhance the skills of the sales staff. Lead, manage, and mentor the sales team to achieve their targets. Evaluate the performance of the sales team and provide feedback for improvement. Market Analysis and Research: Keep abreast of regulatory changes affecting the microfinance sector and adjust strategies as needed. Conduct market research to understand customer needs and market trends. Analyze competitor activities and adjust sales strategies accordingly. Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholholders. Develop strategies for customer retention and loyalty. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service and effective resolution of issues. Sales Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the sales department. Ensure that sales processes and policies are adhered to and are effective. Manage the sales budget and allocate resources efficiently. Product and Service Development: Collaborate with the product development team to tailor products and services that meet customer needs. Provide feedback from the field to improve existing products and develop new offerings. Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular sales reports for the senior management team.
