The company core area of operation is to provide a broad spectrum of services ranging from Engineering, Pipeline & Flowline Construction / Repairs, Facility piping and maintenance, Wellhead & Christmas tree maintenance and servicing, Composite wrap technology, Equipment & Offshore/Marine Supplies etc We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Planning Engineer (Operation) Specialized - Pipelines Location: Lagos Start Date: 1st September 2026 Roles and Responsibilities: Apply the HSSE policy, legislation applicable to crude oil transfer and export. Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and adherence to safety procedures at all work locations. Supervise preparation of equipment for maintenance including isolation, draining, steaming, and other procedures as required. Monitor daily field activities to ensure personnel follow approved work procedures and permit-to-work requirements: Organize toolbox talks, safety inductions, emergency drills, and HSE awareness programs for employees and contractors. Apply the emergency response procedure where and when necessary. Investigate accidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions Coordinate emergency response plans, drills, and rescue arrangements to ensure readiness for incidents Conduct site inspections, Job Hazard Analysis (JHA), and risk assessments to identify and mitigate workplace hazards Ensure compliance with Renaissance HSE standards, government regulations, and industry best practices He/she will be responsible for the following: Adhere to operational procedures. Participate in Daily notification and YTT review meeting Collaborate with other disciplines to execute planned activities. Report and close out UA/UC. Monitor contractor activities to ensure compliance with HSE requirements: and safe work practices Maintain safety statistics, inspection reports, training records, corrective action trackers, and regulatory compliance documentation. Requirements: Academics: B.Sc in any discipline Age: ≤ 50yrs Work Experience: The candidate is expected to consistently support the successful delivery of pipeline projects through effective supervision, resource coordination, compliance management, and operational oversight while contributing to business growth and client satisfaction. The candidate should possess minimum of 13 years of professional experience, including 10 years in Field Assistant and Assistant Supervisor roles within civil construction companies and 3 years as a Site Supervisor. Demonstrated competence and hands-on experience: are expected in the following areas: Site Supervision, Monitoring, and Control Civil Construction Supervision and Execution Real Estate Development and Sales Business Development and Growth Initiatives Project Documentation and Record Management Stakeholder Coordination and Liaison Project Planning, Execution, and Coordination Materials Procurement, Management, and Logistics Control Quality Assurance and Workmanship Inspection Progress Tracking, Issue Resolution, and Reporting Productivity Monitoring and Performance Management Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Management Site and Field Operations Management Workforce, Labor, and Contractor Management Skills (Added advantage): Prevention of falls & counterweight and counterbalance & correct use of knots.
