We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Forklift Operator Location: Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary The successful candidate will be responsible for loading, unloading, transporting, stacking, and positioning materials while ensuring strict compliance with company safety procedures. The candidate must be physically fit, safety-conscious, and able to work effectively in a busy industrial or manufacturing environment. We are seeking a skilled and responsible Forklift Operator to safely operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment within the warehouse and production areas. Key Responsibilities: Report damaged goods, unsafe conditions, or operational incidents to the Warehouse Supervisor. Follow all warehouse traffic rules, safety procedures, and operational instructions. Keep accurate records of forklift usage, inspections, and material movements where required. Maintain cleanliness and good operating condition of the forklift. Transport raw materials and finished products between the warehouse, production areas, and designated locations. Assist warehouse personnel with loading, unloading, and general material-handling activities when required. Safely operate forklifts to load, unload, move, and stack materials, products, and equipment. Load and unload trucks and containers safely and efficiently. Maintain proper awareness of pedestrians, vehicles, and other equipment operating within the work area. Conduct daily pre-operation inspections of the forklift and report any faults or maintenance issues immediately. Follow company procedures regarding occupational health, safety, and environmental standards. Perform other duties related to warehouse and material handling as assigned by management. Ensure materials are properly positioned and securely stacked to prevent damage or accidents. Ensure proper handling of fragile, heavy, or sensitive materials. Requirements: Valid forklift operating certification/licence where required. Physically fit and capable of working in a demanding industrial environment.
