We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Recovery & Credit Analyst Location: Egbeda, Alimosho- Lagos Employment Type: Full-time Reports To : Credit/Risk Manager Role Summary We are looking for a detail-oriented Recovery & Credit Analyst to support credit assessment, portfolio monitoring, collections and recovery activities. The role will be responsible for analysing customer credit information, monitoring repayment performance, identifying delinquency risks and supporting effective recovery of outstanding obligations. Key Responsibilities: Escalate high-risk and seriously delinquent accounts in line with internal procedures. Conduct credit analysis and make recommendations on creditworthiness and lending decisions. Develop and implement effective recovery strategies for delinquent accounts. Prepare regular reports on portfolio performance, delinquency, collections and recovery rates. Track repayment schedules and follow up on outstanding obligations. Assess customer credit applications and review relevant financial and customer information. Analyse credit and recovery data to identify trends and recommend improvements. Work with Customer Service, Finance and Operations teams to resolve credit and repayment issues. Monitor loan portfolios and identify overdue, delinquent and high-risk accounts. Ensure all credit and recovery activities comply with applicable policies, procedures and regulatory requirements. Maintain accurate records of collections, recoveries and customer interactions. Contact customers through approved channels to facilitate repayment and resolve outstanding balances. Requirements: Strong attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information. Strong analytical and numerical skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant data analysis tools. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or a related field. 2–3 years of experience: in credit analysis, loan monitoring, collections or recovery, preferably within a financial institution or fintech. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Good understanding of credit assessment and loan repayment processes. Ability to work with targets and manage multiple accounts effectively.
