We are seeking a reliable, safety-conscious, and experienced Driver to provide safe and efficient transportation services for staff, students, management, and school operations. Key Responsibilities: Safely transport staff, management, students, and visitors as assigned. Conduct daily vehicle inspections before and after use. Support school logistics during events, excursions, examinations, and special programmes. Assist with loading and unloading of items where necessary. Monitor fuel levels, engine oil, tyres, brake systems, and other essential vehicle components. Ensure punctual pick-up and drop-off according to scheduled routes and appointments. Plan routes efficiently to avoid delays. Keep accurate records of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance. Maintain confidentiality and professionalism while transporting management or guests. Report vehicle faults, accidents, or maintenance needs promptly. Maintain the cleanliness, safety, and roadworthiness of assigned vehicles. Ensure all vehicle documents (licence, insurance, roadworthiness, etc.) remain valid and up to date. Drive defensively and strictly adhere to all traffic laws and road safety regulations. Perform other transport-related duties as assigned by Management. Qualifications Minimum of SSCE/OND (Higher qualifications are an added advantage). Valid Nigerian Driver's Licence. Minimum of 5 years' proven driving experience. Good knowledge of Lagos roads and traffic regulations. Clean driving record with no history of reckless driving. Preferred Candidate: Experience: driving school buses or executive vehicles is an added advantage. Must reside within Festac Town or nearby areas (preferred). Must be physically fit and medically fit to drive. Required Skills & Competencies: Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge. Strong sense of responsibility and punctuality. Ability to follow instructions accurately. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to remain calm under pressure. Excellent driving skills. Good knowledge of Lagos road networks. Time management and route planning skills. High level of honesty and integrity. Personal Attributes: Safety-conscious. Patient and courteous. Positive attitude and willingness to assist.
