FMR Agency is recruiting a detail-oriented QC Technician to join the Quality Control team of a leading construction materials company. The successful candidate will conduct laboratory and field tests on concrete and construction materials, maintain accurate testing records, and ensure materials meet required quality specifications. Key Responsibilities: Conduct concrete slump tests to verify workability and compliance with approved mix designs. Prepare, label, cure, and maintain concrete cube samples for compressive strength testing. Perform compressive strength tests on concrete cubes and accurately record results. Conduct aggregate sieve analysis and other material tests. Determine aggregate moisture content and communicate results to the batching plant team for mix adjustments. Maintain accurate laboratory and field testing records, including test reports, cube registers, and quality logs. Monitor and maintain curing tanks, testing equipment, and laboratory facilities. Report failed tests, quality concerns, and material non-conformities promptly. Ensure laboratory activities comply with company quality procedures, testing standards, and HSE requirements. Assist in investigating quality issues and implementing corrective and preventive actions. Monitor laboratory consumables and report shortages or equipment maintenance needs. Perform other quality control duties assigned by Management. Qualifications & Experience: ND, HND, or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Building Technology, Materials Engineering, or a related field. 3–5 years of experience: in concrete quality control, laboratory testing, or construction materials testing. Experience: in a ready-mix concrete or construction materials laboratory is an added advantage. N150,000 / Month.
