The successful candidate will be responsible for setting and monitoring team targets, Coaching Sales Officers, supporting customer acquisition, overseeing the loan application process, and ensuring the team consistently achieves its sales and portfolio objectives. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership, communication, sales, and people-management skills, with proven experience: in financial services, lending, or consumer finance. The Key Responsibilities: Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities, and provide recommendations to management. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers. Monitor sales activities, pipeline, conversion rates, and portfolio performance. Prepare and submit accurate daily, weekly, and monthly sales and activity reports. Monitor individual and team sales performance and implement strategies to improve results. Ensure the team achieves sales volumes and targets profitably. Identify new business opportunities and support customer acquisition and portfolio growth. Lead, supervise, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team targets. Collaborate with Credit, Recovery, Operations, and other departments to ensure smooth loan processing and customer service. Ensure loan applications and documentation are properly completed and followed through to disbursement. Coach and mentor team members to improve sales performance, productivity, and professional development. Identify performance gaps and provide appropriate coaching and corrective support. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable lending standards. Organize regular team meetings, performance reviews, and sales activities. Drive the marketing and sales of the company's loan products to prospective customers. Requirements: High level of integrity, accountability, and professionalism. Proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Must have completed NYSC. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. A Minimum of 4 years' relevant experience: in sales, team leadership, or business development within the financial services, banking, microfinance, fintech, or lending sector is mandatory. Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities. Ability to work independently and effectively in a target-driven environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Strong leadership, coaching, and people-management skills. Experience: in loan sales, consumer lending, microfinance, or financial services is highly preferred. Bachelor's Degree (B.Sc.) in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline. Proven experience: managing and leading a sales team. Strong negotiation, persuasion, and customer relationship management skills. Compensation & Benefits: Transport allowance. Airtime allowance. Other benefits: as determined by management.
