We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Senior Accountant ID: 2026-17621 Location: Lagos Employment Type: Full-time Overview In this role, you’ll be responsible for performing the general accounting functions, including preparing journal entries, performing reconciliations, preparing financial reports and statements, ensuring the accuracy of the monthly payroll, as well as implementing the company’s accounting control procedures. The role will operate within the Finance unit under the CFO (Chief Finance Officer). We’re looking for a Senior Accountant with the experience: and skills necessary to oversee our real estate entities and manage the local finance team. Responsibilities: Coordinate and prepare internal and external financial reporting on an ongoing basis Evaluate accounting and internal control and implement improvements as needed Oversee regulatory reporting, including tax planning and compliance Provide management with information vital to the decision-making process Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly operating cash flows Coordinate activities of external auditors including interim audit work Manage the accumulation and consolidation of all financial data necessary for an accurate accounting of consolidated business results Plan, direct, and coordinate all accounting operational functions Qualifications A valid and up to date National Identity Card / NIMC slip is required upon commencement of this role. Ability to work under pressure and adhere to tight deadlines. Real Estate accounting experience: is a must. Big four audit experience: is an advantage. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
