We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer with strong expertise in C# and .NET to design, build and maintain scalable backend systems and services. The ideal candidate has experience: building production-grade applications and APIs and understands how to develop systems that are reliable, secure and maintainable. You should be comfortable taking ownership of backend solutions from system design through development, testing and deployment. The role requires strong problem-solving skills, sound technical judgment and the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with engineers, product teams and clients. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop and maintain scalable backend applications and services using C# and .NET. Take ownership of backend solutions from requirements: gathering and system design through development, testing and deployment. Build clean, maintainable and well-tested code that follows established engineering standards and best practices. Design and develop RESTful APIs and services that support internal and external applications. Work with relational and non-relational databases to build reliable and efficient data solutions. Participate in system architecture and design discussions and make sound technical decisions based on project requirements. Troubleshoot complex application and production issues and identify and resolve their root causes. Conduct code reviews and provide constructive technical feedback to maintain high engineering standards. Improve existing systems to enhance performance, reliability, security and maintainability. Work with CI/CD pipelines and modern development practices to support efficient and reliable software delivery. Integrate backend services with third-party systems, APIs and other applications where required. Create and maintain technical documentation for applications, services and system architecture. Collaborate with engineers, product teams and clients to understand requirements: and deliver effective technical solutions. Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and provide technical guidance where required. Participate in technical interviews and client-facing technical discussions.
