The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of accounting principles, strong Excel proficiency, and the ability to prepare accurate financial reports and dashboards. Key Requirements: & Competencies B.Sc. in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is mandatory Ability to build professional reports and dashboards using Excel Experience: with bank and account reconciliations Understanding of accounts payable and accounts receivable Ability to prepare and maintain accurate ledgers and accounting schedules Knowledge of journals, trial balance, and general ledger processes Ability to assist with monthly financial closing and reporting Basic understanding of cash flow and expense tracking Ability to monitor and analyse income and expenditure Familiarity with invoicing, receipts, payments, and supporting documentation Ability to identify and investigate accounting discrepancies and variances Basic knowledge of tax and statutory accounting requirements: Strong numerical and analytical skills Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Good data management and record-keeping skills Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Good communication and interpersonal skills Proximity to Apongbon, Lagos Island is key.
