We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Social Media Content Creator Location: Lekki, Lagos Employment Type: Part-time Job Summary The ideal candidate must possess exceptional video production and editing skills, understand luxury brand storytelling, and be capable of conceptualizing, scripting, creating, editing, and publishing engaging content across multiple social media platforms. We are seeking a highly creative, trend-savvy, and results-driven Social Media Content Creator to create visually compelling content that reflects the sophistication and luxury standards of our brand. Key Responsibilities: Content Strategy & Planning: Generate innovative content concepts that strengthen brand positioning. Develop creative content ideas aligned with marketing objectives. Create and maintain monthly content calendars. Research emerging social media trends, formats, and opportunities. Ensure all content aligns with the brand's identity and voice. Content Creation & Production: Capture high-quality photos and videos of products, clients, and team activities. Create product showcases, customer testimonials, transformation videos, behind-the-scenes content, educational content, lifestyle content, promotional campaigns, and brand storytelling content. Conceptualize, script, shoot, and edit high-quality video content. Produce engaging content for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, WhatsApp Business, and other relevant platforms. Video Editing & Post-Production: Incorporate captions, transitions, motion graphics, effects, and sound design where appropriate. Optimize content for platform-specific performance. Edit videos to premium luxury standards. Produce both short-form and long-form content. Maintain consistency in branding, aesthetics, and storytelling. Script Writing & Storytelling: Develop storytelling-driven content that resonates with the target audience. Create content that educates, inspires, entertains, and drives conversions. Write compelling scripts, captions, hooks, and content briefs. Social Media Support: Collaborate closely with the Social Media Manager and Marketing Team. Stay updated on platform algorithms and industry best practices. Recommend content strategies based on performance insights. Monitor content performance and suggest improvements. Brand Representation: Maintain exceptional visual standards across all published content. Ensure all content reflects the premium positioning of the ONYX brand. What Success Looks like Within the first 90 days, the successful candidate should: Increase audience engagement across social platforms. Demonstrate strong creative direction and storytelling ability. Requirements: HND/B.Sc. in Mass Communication, Marketing, Media, Creative Arts, or a related field. Minimum of 2–4 years' experience: in content creation, videography, or social media content production. Experience: within beauty, luxury, fashion, lifestyle, or premium consumer brands is highly preferred. Strong portfolio showcasing previous content creation and video editing work. Key Skills / Competencies: Technical Skills: Strong understanding of lighting, composition, framing, and visual storytelling. Ability to create platform-optimized content. Proficiency in CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, and Canva Pro. Advanced video shooting and editing skills. Photoshop proficiency is an added advantage.
