Key Responsibilities: Supporting the development and improvement of recipes and production techniques. Learning how to monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies for smooth production. Learning to use production and inventory management software for record-keeping and reporting. Assisting in documenting production processes, quality checks, and outputs. Understudying supervisors and managers in the production team to acquire both technical and soft skills. Learning how to manage production schedules and ensure timely delivery of products. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure operational efficiency. Learning all aspects of food production including cooking, pastry, bakery, and related processes. Assisting in maintaining food safety and hygiene standards across all production processes. Understanding and following standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure high-quality output. Requirements: Critical-thinking skills and ability to solve operational problems efficiently. Attention to detail and commitment to food safety and quality standards. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Experience: with inventory and production software is an added advantage. Self-starter, highly organized, and detail-oriented. Ability to adapt to new challenges in a dynamic production environment while handling multiple tasks. Strong organizational skills and ability to meet production deadlines. A Bachelor’s Degree / Higher National Diploma in Food Science, Culinary Arts, Hospitality, or related field. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
