Credit officer responsibilities: include preparing loan applications, evaluating clients’ financial information, and calculating risk ratios. To be successful in this role, you should have a good understanding of lending procedures and customer service experience. We are looking for a Credit Officer to facilitate lending for our clients by assessing creditworthiness and processing relevant paperwork in Lagos State. Ultimately, you will help our clients acquire loans on time while ensuring all requirements: are met. Responsibilities: Evaluate creditworthiness and risks Monitor progress of existing loans Contact clients to gather financial data and documentation Follow up with clients about loan renewals Set up payment plans Review loan requests Analyse risks and approve or reject loan requests Daily & weekly repayment collection Maintain updated records of loan applications Assess clients’ financial status Requirements: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Customer service experience.
