We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Quantity Surveyor Location: Abuja (FCT) Key Responsibilities: Monitor project expenditures and ensure cost control measures are in place. Conduct valuation of work performed and process payments to contractors/subcontractors. Assist in the procurement process by preparing tender documents, analyzing bids, and selecting suppliers/subcontractors. Liaise with project managers, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure cost-effective project delivery. Track and report on project financial progress, including cash flow forecasts. Ensure compliance with relevant legal, safety, and quality standards. Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for the gas pipeline project. Manage contractual relationships, including drafting and evaluating contracts, variations, and claims. Manage change orders and variations, assessing their impact on project costs and schedules. Conduct risk assessments related to project costs and develop mitigation strategies. Conduct feasibility studies and cost analysis to support project planning. Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions, contractual correspondence, and project documentation. Qualifications & Skills Strong knowledge of construction contracts, procurement, and financial management. Proficiency in estimating software, MS Office Suite, and project management tools. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively. Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills. Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying or related fields Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations related to pipeline construction. 8 -12 years experience: in preferably in gas pipeline or infrastructure projects.
