CashX, a fast-growing FinTech company, is looking for a Collection Specialist to join our dynamic team in Lagos. If you are confident, persuasive, target-driven, and passionate about customer engagement and financial recovery, this opportunity is for you! Key Responsibilities: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, commitments, payments, and account status. Review customers’ loan information, payment history, and account records to determine appropriate collection strategies. Contact customers through calls, SMS, WhatsApp, and emails regarding due and overdue payments. Handle customer concerns professionally while providing appropriate repayment solutions. Follow up consistently with customers to secure payment commitments and recover outstanding debts. Negotiate settlements, restructuring options, and repayment arrangements within approved guidelines. Meet and consistently work towards assigned collection and recovery targets. Escalate unresolved or high-risk accounts appropriately. Engage customers professionally and negotiate suitable repayment plans. Requirements: Highly target-driven, resilient, and results-oriented. 0–2 years’ experience: in debt collection, customer service, FinTech, banking, microfinance, or financial services is an advantage. Confident and professional telephone manner. BA/BSc/HND in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or any related field. Ability to handle challenging customer conversations calmly and professionally. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and performance-driven environment. Must have completed NYSC. Good computer literacy and ability to work with digital systems. Strong negotiation, persuasion, and interpersonal skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
