Credit officer responsibilities: include preparing loan applications, evaluating clients’ financial information, and calculating risk ratios. To be successful in this role, you should have a good understanding of lending procedures and customer service experience. Ultimately, you will help our clients acquire loans on time while ensuring all requirements: are met. Responsibilities: Contact clients to gather financial data and documentation. Evaluate creditworthiness and risks. Maintain updated records of loan applications. Daily & weekly repayment collection. Review loan requests. Set up payment plans. Analyse risks and approve or reject loan requests. Monitor progress of existing loans. Follow up with clients about loan renewals. Assess clients’ financial status. Requirements: and Skills NCE / OND / HND / BSc in Banking and Finance, Economics, or related field. Strong analytical skills. Hands-on experience: with lending procedures and products. Proven work experience: as a Credit Officer, Loan Officeror similar role. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to create and process financial spreadsheets.
