We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Electrical Technician Location: Lagos Responsibilities: Conduct routine inspections of electrical installations to ensure safety and reliability. Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements. Repair or replace faulty electrical components to minimize production downtime. Monitor power supply systems, generators, and distribution boards. Assist in the installation, testing, and commissioning of new electrical systems and equipment. Provide technical support during production and maintenance activities. Maintain accurate records and documentation of electrical maintenance activities and repairs. Monitor electrical control panels and ensure they function correctly. Provide technical support during emergency power outages and equipment breakdowns. Identify root causes of electrical failures and implement effective corrective actions. Work closely with mechanical technicians, engineers, and production staff to ensure smooth plant operations. Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems and components to minimize equipment downtime. Diagnose electrical faults in production machinery and plant equipment. Identify electrical hazards and recommend improvements to enhance workplace safety and operational efficiency. Respond quickly to electrical breakdowns during production. Qualifications and Requirements: Minimum of 4 years practical experience: as an Electrical Technician in a manufacturing environment. Demonstrate the ability to interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings accurately. Possess strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Be physically fit and capable of working in a factory. HND in Electrical Engineering or related discipline. Have good knowledge of industrial electrical systems, PLCs, and automation processes. Salary / Benefits: N250,000 - N300,000 / month. Annual leave allowance.
