The role involves carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance, diagnosing equipment faults, maintaining Min Qualification: Degree Experience: Level: Entry level Experience: Length: 2 years Language Requirement: English Working Hours: Full Time - 8 to 5 Applicant Location: Abuja, Nigeria Job descriptions & requirements: Responsibilities: Inspect, maintain, and repair all production equipment, machinery, vehicles, and plant facilities to ensure optimal performance. Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance in accordance with the Company's maintenance plan. Diagnose equipment faults and perform timely corrective maintenance to minimize operational downtime. Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and emergency maintenance requests. Monitor the condition and performance of all machinery and recommend repairs or replacements where necessary. Conduct routine inspections of batching plants, concrete pumps, generators, mixers, compressors, and other production equipment. Ensure all maintenance activities are completed safely and in accordance with Company procedures. Maintain accurate maintenance records, service reports, equipment history, and repair logs. Coordinate with Production, Transport, Procurement, and other departments to schedule maintenance with minimal disruption to operations. Monitor spare parts inventory and submit requests for replacement parts and maintenance consumables before stock is depleted. Supervise external technicians and contractors carrying out repairs or servicing where required. Ensure all maintenance tools, equipment, and workshops are clean, organized, and properly maintained. Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, efficiency, and maintenance processes. Enforce compliance with all Company Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies during maintenance activities. Report recurring equipment failures, safety concerns, and major repair requirements: to the Head of Maintenance. Perform any other maintenance-related duties assigned by Management. Requirements: OND, HND, or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, or a related discipline. Minimum of 3–5 years' experience: in industrial equipment maintenance, manufacturing, construction, or heavy machinery operations. Experience: maintaining batching plants, concrete pumps, generators, or heavy-duty equipment is an added advantage.
