The OGTL Rig Superintendent/Owner Representative serves as the senior onsite representative for the owner. Allocate and manage rig resources effectively to minimize downtime and optimize performance. Direct and oversee all onsite rig operations to ensure alignment with the owner's objectives and drilling programs. Serve as the primary liaison between the rig site and shore-based management, providing regular progress reports and technical updates. Monitor the technical performance of the rig and lead troubleshooting efforts for complex machinery or operational problems. Manage and supervise onsite personnel, providing leadership and direction to rig crews and contractors. Qualifications Deep knowledge of offshore support vessel types, drilling equipment, and rig maintenance systems. Relevant certifications such as BOSIET, STCW, and Advanced Fire Fighting; a Certificate of Competency (C.O.C) Class 1 Engine Unlimited is highly preferred.
