The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning, safety, and general maintenance of the organisation's facilities, equipment, and utilities. We are recruiting on behalf of our client for the position of Maintenance Officer. Key Responsibilities: Perform other maintenance-related duties as assigned. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies. Carry out routine inspection and maintenance of facilities, equipment, and electrical/mechanical systems. Identify and report faults, defects, and maintenance requirements: promptly. Ensure maintenance activities are carried out safely and in accordance with established procedures. Ensure preventive maintenance schedules are properly followed. Perform basic repairs and troubleshooting where necessary. Monitor the condition of tools, equipment, and facility infrastructure. Maintain records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment condition. Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and functional working environment. Coordinate and monitor external technicians and contractors when specialised repairs are required. Requirements: Ability to work independently and respond promptly to maintenance issues. OND in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Building Technology, or a related technical discipline. Candidates residing in Ikeja or its environs are strongly preferred. Previous experience: in a maintenance or technical role is an added advantage. Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and general facility maintenance. Must be physically fit and able to carry out routine maintenance activities. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. N120,000 per month.
