The organization works in partnership with State Primary Healthcare Development Boards and public health facilities. Job Summary New Incentives is seeking Assistant Field Managers to support its programme across the Northwest and Northeast regions of Nigeria. The Assistant Field Manager will support Field Managers in overseeing programme operations and Field Officers who provide conditional cash transfers to caregivers at public clinics. The role focuses on maintaining high-quality programme implementation, improving immunization coverage and retention, supervising Field Officers, and building effective relationships with employees, healthcare workers and community stakeholders. Assistant Field Managers will work full-time and supervise Field Officers across NI-ABAE operational locations. Key Responsibilities: The role will involve: Supporting Field Managers in overseeing Field Officers and clinic operations. Supervising Field Officers and providing guidance, coaching and performance feedback. Supporting conditional cash-transfer activities at public health clinics. Monitoring immunization coverage and beneficiary retention. Reviewing programme activities and identifying operational challenges. Supporting the quality and accuracy of field data and documentation. Engaging clinic staff, community stakeholders and other relevant partners. Supporting financial and cash-management accountability. Identifying issues affecting immunization uptake and recommending solutions. Monitoring programme implementation in remote field locations. Supporting Field Managers in ensuring compliance with NI-ABAE policies and procedures. Performing other operational responsibilities: assigned by management. Required Qualifications & Experience: Minimum of National Diploma (ND) , preferably in health or another natural science. Experience: with the Nigerian health system and clinic documentation, particularly infant health and immunization. Experience: collecting, analyzing and interpreting health or programme data is desirable. Good understanding of financial accountability and management of funds. Demonstrated managerial and leadership ability. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, internet browsers, smartphones and other digital technologies. Ability to work independently and under pressure. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Passion for improving child health and reducing infant mortality. Language Requirements: Candidates must be fluent in local languages/dialects spoken across NI-ABAE’s operational states, particularly Hausa . Field Requirements: Successful candidates must: Be willing to work at remote public clinics and field locations at least four days per week .
