Document Controller Job Type Hybrid Qualification BA/BSc/HND Experience: 4 - 6 years Location Lagos Job Field Logistics Requirements: 4–6 years relevant experience: in Document Control, preferably within the Oil & Gas, Engineering, Construction or Energy industry Bachelor’s Degree/HND in Business Administration, Information Management, Engineering, or a related discipline Proven experience: managing technical and project documentation within an Oil & Gas or Engineering environment Strong knowledge of document control processes, procedures, workflows, transmittals, document numbering, revision control and document tracking Experience: managing engineering, procurement, construction and project documentation throughout the document lifecycle Proficiency in Document Management Systems (DMS), EDMS and collaboration platforms such as SharePoint, Aconex, Documentum or similar systems Strong understanding of document review, approval, distribution, archiving and retrieval processes Ability to maintain accurate Document Registers, Master Document Lists (MDLs), transmittal logs and document status reports Experience: coordinating document submissions, reviews, comments and approvals across multiple project stakeholders Experience: supporting an International Oil Company (IOC), Local Oil Company (LOC), EPC contractor or major engineering project is highly desirable.
