You will ensure compliance with statutory and corporate requirements, manage operational risks, and drive environmental and safety performance improvements across assigned locations. We are seeking an EHS Officer to support the delivery of our EHS vision by implementing and maintaining effective EHS management systems. Responsibilities: Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual EHS reports, dashboards, and performance metrics; monitor leading and lagging indicators. Implement environmental management programmes including waste management, pollution prevention, and resource conservation; monitor contractor compliance. Conduct workplace inspections, hazard identification, job safety observations, and risk assessments; maintain and review risk registers. Act as the focal point for day-to-day EHS support and advisory services at assigned locations. Support incident investigations using approved methodologies and monitor closure of corrective and preventive actions. Support the implementation, maintenance, and continual improvement of the Integrated Management System (IMS) in alignment with ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 39001 and other corporate standards. Ensure compliance with corporate EHS policies, procedures, and statutory obligations at assigned locations, maintaining records and documentation for audit readiness. Coordinate EHS inductions, toolbox talks, safety meetings, and awareness campaigns; support occupational health and road safety programmes. Requirements: Required: Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Management, or a related discipline. Experience: in EHS management systems, audits, inspections, incident investigations, risk assessments, and regulatory compliance. 3–5 years’ experience: in an EHS role. Preferred: NEBOSH IGC, IOSH Managing Safely, ISPON certification/membership, or equivalent certifications. ISO 14001 and/or ISO 45001 Internal Auditor certification.
