We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Radiographer Location: Asaba, Delta Employment Type: Full-time Responsibilities: Developing a relationship with the patient and the patient's family; Performing diagnostic imaging procedures, such as MRI, CT, X-Rays, and ultrasound. Keeping up to date by attending all relevant training on treatment and equipment; Seeking patient cooperation and trust and showing sensitivity; Operating technical equipment responsibly and confidently; Observing and assessing patients' responses to treatment, often on a daily basis Obtaining patient histories from patient interviews Develop films and process digital images to obtain high-quality radiographs which are presented to physicians for interpretation. Electronic records (documentation) Set accurate radiation levels in accordance with established standards, and also obtain patient consent prior to diagnostic imaging to fulfill legal requirements. Producing reports as and when required; Obtaining patient histories from patient interviews Preparing comprehensive reports of findings. Monitor patients during and after radiation to ensure proper response to treatment. Communicate test results and their diagnosis to a patient's primary physician through a report. Recording and storing of patient’s examination results, ensuring compliance with Data Protection Act and Patient Confidentiality codes is also part of radiographers' description Supervising and monitoring the work of radiography assistants and student radiographers; Take responsibility for radiation safety in work area, including checking equipment for malfunctions and errors Qualification and Requirement Bachelor of Science in Medical Radiography Candidate must possess current practicing license Minimum of 2 -5 years post NYSC experience: Highly motivated team player willing to go the extra mile. Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills Good knowledge of MRI Scans will be an added advantage. Proficient with Healthcare Management Systems Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal Must have completed the mandatory National Youth Service Corps or have an exemption certificate.
