This is a strategic and hands-on role for someone who can transform Learn Africa’s curriculum expertise, educational content, publishing strength, and school relationships into practical, scalable, and commercially viable digital products. Key Responsibilities: Own and manage Learn Africa’s digital product roadmap. Conduct user and market research across schools, teachers, students, parents, distributors, and internal teams. Audit existing digital products, platforms, content systems, vendors, and technology initiatives. Translate business goals and user needs into product requirements, user journeys, PRDs, user stories, backlogs, and execution plans. Coordinate developers, designers, technology vendors, and external partners. Manage product discovery, prioritisation, testing, launches, feedback, and continuous improvement. Define and track metrics across adoption, engagement, retention, customer satisfaction, revenue, and operational efficiency. Communicate product direction, progress, risks, and recommendations to senior management and cross-functional teams. Support build, buy, or partner decisions for key digital initiatives. What We are Looking For 5+ years of relevant experience: in product management, digital product development, technology delivery, edtech, SaaS, fintech, media technology, e-commerce, or a related digital environment. Proven experience: building, launching, managing, or improving digital products, platforms, mobile applications, websites, or technology-enabled services. Strong knowledge of product discovery, roadmaps, user research, prioritisation, requirements: gathering, backlog management, testing, launch planning, and post-launch iteration. Strong commercial awareness and the ability to balance user needs, business goals, cost, timelines, technical constraints, and scalability. Experience: working with developers, designers, vendors, business teams, and senior stakeholders. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Sufficient technical fluency to discuss APIs, integrations, systems, data flows, platforms, and content management systems. Ability to work independently, take ownership, and build structure in an evolving digital product environment.
