The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, editing, and producing high-quality video content for the company’s digital platforms, marketing campaigns, training materials, and promotional activities. The ideal candidate should have strong storytelling skills, excellent knowledge of video editing tools, and the ability to transform raw footage into engaging visual content. Min Qualification: Degree Experience Level: Entry level Experience Length: 2 years Language Requirement: English Working Hours: Full Time - 8 to 5 Applicant Location: Lagos, Nigeria Job descriptions & requirements Responsibilities: Video Production & Editing: Edit raw video footage into high-quality, engaging content suitable for social media, marketing campaigns, webinars, and company presentations. Create short-form and long-form videos for platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, and other digital channels. Add transitions, subtitles, captions, animations, sound effects, and background music to enhance video quality. Ensure all edited videos align with the company’s brand identity and communication style. Review and refine video edits based on feedback from the team. Content Creation Support: Collaborate with the Social Media Manager and content team to develop creative video concepts. Assist in producing promotional videos, company announcements, event coverage, customer testimonials, and educational content. Transform ideas, scripts, and raw footage into visually compelling stories. Support video production for training sessions, webinars, and company events. Video Quality Management: Ensure consistency in video quality, branding, and presentation across all platforms. Maintain proper organisation of video files, project files, and media assets. Stay updated with current video trends, editing techniques, and social media content styles. Equipment & Technical Responsibilities: Operate video editing software and related tools effectively. Manage and maintain video project files and assets. Assist with basic filming, camera setup, lighting, and audio recording when required. Ensure final videos meet required technical specifications for different platforms. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, diploma, or relevant certification in Film Production, Media Studies, Communications, or a related field (preferred). Proven experience as a Video Editor or similar creative role. Strong knowledge of video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, and CapCut (for short-form content) Experience creating content for social media platforms. Good understanding of storytelling, pacing, and visual communication. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Strong attention to detail and creativity. Knowledge of motion graphics and animation is an added advantage. Creativity and innovation.Attention to detail Time management. Communication skills. Problem-solving ability.
