We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Treasury Manager Location : Victoria Island, Lagos Employment Type: Full-time Job Purpose/Objectives To optimise our Treasury function, supporting our financial objectives and business growth. To oversee the treasury operations in Nigeria including cash and liquidity management, financial risk mitigation and banking relationships. Duties & Responsibilities: Maintain awareness of changes in financial regulations and proactively adjust operations accordingly. Prepare periodic treasury reports and present to Head of Finance. Ensure all treasury activities comply with CBN regulations, FIRS requirements, and company policy. Proactively manage cash flow forecasting and liquidity management to ensure sufficient funds for operational needs. Develop strategies for optimising working capital, including receivables and payables management. Support the Head of Finance on achieving Finance objectives. Conduct risk assessments related to foreign exchange, interest rates, and commodity pricing. Monitor local debt / bonds facilities and associated reporting requirements: to ensure full compliance. Develop and maintain healthy and productive relationships with banks and other funding sources to secure the most favourable terms for the business. Key member of the Head of Finance leadership team and interfacing with different disciplines across the business. Responsible for the company’s treasury operations and provides advice on international financing issues related to acquisitions, new ventures and divestitures. Job & Main Specifications (Education/Knowledge, Skills, Attributes, Experience: & Other Required Details) Experience: of debt refinancing and debt covenant reporting. Ability to work efficiently under pressure. University Degree in Accounting or any Finance related discipline. Strong relationship, interpersonal and communication skills. Vast understanding of capital planning, optimising financial resources and maintaining strong liquidity and short-term cash flow forecasting. Minimum of 15 years’ experience: within a treasury function, out of which 5 years must be in a leadership role, preferably with an upstream Oil and Gas operator. Results oriented with high level of attention to details. Strong analytical, business acumen, leadership, negotiation and persuading skills. Able to lead and build a high performing team.
