They are recruiting for an experienced to join its finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the company’s tax compliance and supporting the finance team on tax-related matters. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and file VAT, WHT, PAYE, CIT and other applicable tax returns. Ensure timely and accurate tax compliance with relevant Nigerian tax laws and regulations. Reconcile tax ledgers, tax accounts and supporting schedules. Assist with tax audits, investigations and queries from tax authorities. Provide tax advice on business transactions and operational activities. Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the business. Support the preparation of tax computations and annual tax returns. Maintain proper tax documentation and records. Liaise with external tax consultants, auditors and relevant tax authorities where required. Identify tax risks and opportunities for improved tax efficiency. Requirements: B.Sc. / HND qualification in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related discipline. Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience: in taxation, preferably within an FMCG environment. Experience: working in a multinational company will be an added advantage. Good knowledge of Nigerian tax laws and regulatory requirements. Strong understanding of VAT, WHT, PAYE and Companies Income Tax. Excellent analytical, numerical and reconciliation skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP software. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Those writing professional exams are encouraged to apply . Professional qualification such as ICAN, ACCA or ANAN will be an advantage.
