We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: School Operations & Quality Assurance Manager Location: Ibadan, Oyo Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary The successful candidate will work across the school’s administration, operations and quality-assurance functions, working closely with the School Director, teaching staff and administrative team. The role requires an individual with proven management experience: within a school environment, capable of providing effective coordination, oversight, quality control and accountability across key areas of school life. This is a senior school management position requiring sound judgement, professional presence, strong organisational ability and the confidence to work across multiple functions of the school. We are seeking an experienced, highly organised, articulate and professionally presented school management professional to join the leadership structure of a growing British-curriculum school. Key Responsibilities: School-wide Operations & Programmes: Ensure school activities and programmes are properly planned, scheduled and implemented. Coordinate the school calendar, events, trips, celebrations, clubs and special activities. Oversee the effective day-to-day coordination of school operations. Monitor delegated responsibilities: and ensure agreed actions are completed. Identify operational issues and bring appropriate solutions to the attention of the School Director Academic Operations & Assessment: Oversee the collection, collation and secure organisation of examination scripts and assessment materials. Ensure teaching periods, examinations and other school commitments are appropriately scheduled. Monitor assessment deadlines and required submissions. Coordinate the implementation and monitoring of the school timetable. Coordinate examination administration, including schedules and invigilation arrangements. Quality, Standards & Professional Practice: Monitor classroom practice, lesson organisation, pupil engagement and adherence to agreed school standards. Conduct lesson observations as part of the school’s quality-assurance process. Provide appropriate professional feedback and follow up agreed actions. Monitor the consistent implementation of agreed school procedures and standards. Identify areas requiring improvement and report appropriately to the School designated academic leader. The role supports academic quality assurance but does not assume responsibility for curriculum design or replace the responsibilities: of teachers or academic leadership. Reporting, Documentation & Information Management: Follow up on outstanding documentation and maintain accurate school records. Monitor compliance with reporting deadlines and requirements. Coordinate the preparation, submission and collation of pupil reports. Proofread reports and formal school documents for accuracy, consistency, completeness and professional presentation. People, communication & Family Experience: Follow up on responsibilities: assigned to teachers and administrative staff. Ensure agreed parent follow-up actions are completed, and significant matters are appropriately escalated. Coordinate the administrative aspects of parent meetings and family engagement activities. Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, leave and relevant administrative requirements. Oversee the administrative handling of family enquiries and concerns. Professional Experience: and Qualifications A degree or HND in Education: Management or Business Administration A minimum of 5 years’ proven management experience: within a school environment, with a demonstrated track record of coordinating people, overseeing school processes and taking responsibility for school-wide operations and activities. Experience: within a British-curriculum, international, private or well-established school will be strongly advantageous. Excellent communication, planning, organisational and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to engage professionally with school leadership, teachers, administrative staff and families. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and confidence working with digital systems, databases and school management platforms. Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
