We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Procurement, Inventory & Store Manager Location: Lagos Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary The successful candidate will work closely with Procurement, Sales, Finance, Biomedical Engineering, Logistics, and Customer Experience: teams to ensure inventory availability, operational efficiency, and timely fulfilment of customer and internal requirements. The Inventory & Store Manager is responsible for overseeing the efficient management of the company's inventory, warehouse, and fixed assets. The role is also responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records using Zoho Inventory/ERP and ensuring compliance with inventory control procedures. The role ensures the accurate receipt, storage, issuance, and distribution of medical equipment, reagents, consumables, spare parts, and other inventory items while maintaining optimal stock levels and minimizing losses. Key Responsibilities: Inventory & Store Management: Monitor inventory movement and recommend replenishment to prevent stock-outs and overstocking. Manage the receipt, storage, issuance, and distribution of inventory items. Conduct periodic stock counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies. Ensure proper storage, labelling, and handling of medical equipment, reagents, consumables, and spare parts. Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock levels are sufficient to support business operations. Warehouse & Asset Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the warehouse and store. Manage the company's fixed asset register, including tagging, tracking, issuance, transfers, and disposal of company assets. Ensure proper custody and accountability of company assets. Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized storage environment. Inventory Control & Compliance: Minimize inventory losses, damages, expiries, and wastage. Implement and enforce inventory control policies and standard operating procedures. Ensure all inventory transactions are accurately documented and updated in the inventory management system. Support internal and external inventory audits. Cross-Functional Coordination: Coordinate with Sales, Customer Experience, Logistics, and Biomedical Engineering teams to ensure timely order fulfilment and service delivery. Support Finance with inventory valuation, reconciliation, and reporting. Work closely with Procurement to plan inventory replenishment. Reporting & Team Leadership: Promote a culture of accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement. Supervise store personnel, allocate responsibilities, and ensure adherence to company procedures. Prepare weekly and monthly inventory and stock movement reports. Monitor inventory performance and recommend process improvements. Qualifications & Experience: Education: Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Purchasing & Supply, Warehouse Management, or a related discipline. Experience: Minimum of 4–6 years' experience: in inventory, warehouse, or store management. Experience: in the medical, diagnostics, pharmaceutical, or healthcare industry is an added advantage. At least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
