Ability to diagnose and repair starting, charging, lighting and wiring systems. Ability to troubleshoot electrical faults and carry out preventive maintenance. Ability to use diagnostic tools and electrical testing equipment. Experience: with alternators, starters, batteries, sensors and control systems. 5-10 years’ experience: as a Truck/Heavy-Duty Vehicle Electrician. Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure. Good knowledge of truck electrical and electronic systems. Experience: with haulage/logistics fleets is an advantage.
