Min Qualification: Degree Experience: Level: Senior level Experience: Length: 5 years Language Requirement: English Working Hours: Full Time - 8 to 5 Applicant Location: Lagos, Nigeria Job descriptions & requirements: Responsibilities: Manage the store’s daily operations and ensure smooth, professional service. Develop and implement strategies to achieve daily and monthly sales targets. Lead, train, schedule, and evaluate sales executives, cashiers, promoters, and other store employees. Monitor individual and team performance against established KPIs. Maintain excellent customer service and promptly resolve complaints. Ensure products are properly displayed, priced, labelled and promoted. Monitor inventory levels, stock movement, expiry dates and product availability. Minimise stock losses, damages, wastage, theft and discrepancies. Ensure accurate cash handling, POS reconciliation and daily sales reporting. Coordinate promotions, tastings, product launches and in-store campaigns. Analyse sales performance and recommend ways to improve revenue. Ensure the store is clean, organised and compliant with company standards. Work closely with the warehouse, production, marketing and management teams. Prepare daily, weekly and monthly operational and performance reports. Requirements: Minimum of five years’ relevant retail-management experience, including experience: in a supermarket, pharmacy, food store or established retail business. Previous experience: managing a store team and meeting sales targets. Strong knowledge of inventory control, merchandising and retail operations. Good understanding of POS systems, cash reconciliation and sales reporting. Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills. Strong numerical, analytical and organisational ability. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other basic business applications. Honest, disciplined, customer-focused and commercially minded. Must be able to work weekends and public holidays according to the store schedule. A degree or HND in Business Administration, Marketing, Management or a related discipline is preferred.
