Key Responsibilities: Ensure purchased materials meet approved specifications. Monitor orders and ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment. Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Finance, Quality Assurance, and Stores. Obtain quotations, compare prices, negotiate favourable terms, and prepare Purchase Orders. Support inventory management and prevent stockouts or excess inventory. Identify cost saving opportunities while maintaining quality standards. Maintain accurate procurement records and supplier documentation. Plan and execute procurement activities based on business and production requirements. Source, evaluate, and manage local and international suppliers. Monitor supplier performance and resolve quality, pricing, and delivery issues. Requirements: CIPSMN or CIPS membership is an added advantage. Experience: sourcing engineering spare parts, production materials, or industrial equipment is an added advantage. 3 to 5 years of procurement experience: in a manufacturing environment. Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Purchasing & Supply, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field.
